We Accept
The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)
At McLaughlin Village Dental, we firmly believe that good dental care is a right for everyone, not just those who can afford it. With rising inflation and the increasing cost of living, the Canada Dental Care Plan (CDCP) is a welcome relief for Canadian residents with an adjusted family net income below $90,000/year and without private dental coverage.
The Canadian Dental Care Plan is not yet available to everyone. Initially, it was offered to seniors aged 65 and above, but the latest update now includes children under the age of 18.
If you fall within these age brackets and meet the following criteria, you may be eligible to benefit from this plan:
The coverage offered by the Canada Dental Care Plan depends on your family’s net income, meaning your contribution may differ from that of another family. When scheduling your appointment, don’t hesitate to ask our team about the services included under CDCP and the percentage of costs applicable to your plan.
Before booking an appointment, it’s essential to ask your dentist if they accept the CDCP, as not all dental clinics are enrolled in the program. At McLaughlin Village Dental, we do accept the Canada Dental Care Plan and would be happy to assist you.
The services covered under the CDCP include:
The Canada Dental Care Plan covers a percentage of the eligible costs based on your family’s net income. You may need to cover a portion of the cost, which may differ from that of another family. When booking your appointment, feel free to check with our team if the service is covered under the CDCP and how much of the cost is covered by your plan.
